Congratulations!

You made it!  Okay, now just leave me a message here containing the link to either your eBay auction or Craigslist post and, if it looks legit and I feel like it, I’ll put up a post advertising it for you.  This doesn’t mean I will, and I don’t have to – this is my house, after all, so we play by my rules.  If that loosens your Fixodent, well, WordPress blogs are free, Flower Power!  Start your own!

Also, NO SALES are to take place in the Organ*Pron comments section.  I will erase your comment and ban you.  Period.

Sorry if I come off like a bastard but so many of you have come in here acting like I owe you something – folks, I don’t get paid for this! So put on some Jim Dandy & The Doors, light up a stick of that Panama Red you Boomers are always going on about and RELAX!

    Hello There!

My name is Max Carnage and I own a Kimball EP-1. Unfortunately, I’m trying to sell it and can’t find an objective price comparison anywhere.

Do you know what the going rate for an EP-1 is currently? Or at least a “ballpark” price so I can have a better understanding of what its worth?

Thank you so much. I look forward to hearing back from you.

    *BTW, great site.

Max, sorry I didn’t get back to you earlier – I saw your craigslist ad. I think 400 hundred was a good start – you’ll probably only pull 3 in this market. If you had more time, maybe you could hold out, but beggars can’t be choosers as the cliche’ goes, eh?

Just in case, here’s Max’s Kimball on the San Diego CL,

Here’s his Myspace page. He plays this new fangled hip hip music – it’s urban and nothing like The Doors, so I doubt my readership will like it!

Sorry! Can’t help you – however, use the link for Organ Forum found to the right here and they may be able to at least steer you in the right direction. Good Luck!

I have a Kimball Temptation/the Entertainer III. I was wondering what a good starting/asking price would be. Seems to work okay.

  6. marshottentot says:

Hi Bob, I’ve seen these being given away for free and selling upwards to $375. This CL ad is asking 180. Go 180 and drop from there. Good luck!

    Hi!
I own a Lowrey GX-2 and am considering selling it. I’m not sure how much to list it as…any advice? I’ve owned it for nearly 20 years but its still in good shape, everything works fine. Thanks for the help and I love the site!

I’d say take how much you wish you could get and halve it. It’s a killer instrument but, unfortunately, it’s also fairly obscure by today’s taste not to mention extremely immobile, thereby difficult to move.

    Good Luck!

I am in NE PA, need to sell a Hammond 11224 with full pedals. dont know how much its worth, but have to sell it quick, my elderly mother’s house is going to be sold, and I have nowhere to take it where I live now. Any ideas on what its worth? Or anyone interested in buying it. Tag says model # 11224 Serial 476400

    Mars,

This is an awesome blog. I am the proud owner of a Technics EX25L since this past xmas. I love the thing. I’ve got some recorded improvisations on this site: jjemmeiii.bandcamp.com if you’re interested in hearing them.

That 89 Keyless Gavioli Replica Band Organ you posted about…there is one at a park nearby here in Chattanooga. They have it in the center of a merry go round, but I don’t think it is operational. They seem to be using a stereo. I’d always wondered what it sounded like anyway.

I will post a link to your blog on mine: jjemmeiii.wordpress.com.

    Cheers,
    Joe

  14. Hi there, i own a Hammond (the piper) autochord, recently if i leave it on for a long time i lose a few of the bass notes (they just seem to fade into nothing) , also the rythm section doesnt work and the reverb was missing) , (i got this given to me for a recording i did for an artist) in curiousity, how much is my Piper worth ??? , and rather than sell it , is it worth it to replace the problems if u have solutions mentioned???, honestly i really love the sound it has for me , and i never wanted to get rid of it regardless of the problem, but if there is a better home for it , i will part with it , advice please
